Our Mission

Helping women unleash their full potential.

Breaking down barriers, inspiring future generations.

Ask My Daughter is an association that aims to highlight the untapped potential of girls and young women in rural areas. The name Ask My Daughter expresses our vision: to challenge the prevailing idea that boys are automatically singled out for their technical skills. Our aim is to bring about a paradigm shift, urging society to look beyond traditional expectations, to create a world where every girl can realize her full potential, and where every community can thrive on diversity, inclusion and innovation.

Educate and raise awareness

Education Program

We aim to set up a training center specially designed for young women and girls, to train them in technical skills and raise their awareness of issues that concern them.

Technical Training

Through supervised technical training, the girls acquire the skills needed to design and develop a variety of technologies for different needs and fields of application.

Creating Opportunities

At the center, we inspire and support girls on their journey, helping them to develop the skills and confidence to create economic and professional opportunities that enable them to use their creativity and expertise.

Raising Awareness

Through regular seminars, young girls are informed and sensitized to issues that directly affect them in every aspect of their lives.

Accessibilité technologique

Pour la communauté, par la communauté

Au centre, l’accent est mis sur le développement de solutions technologiques abordables, efficaces et durables qui répondent aux besoins spécifiques des communautés.

Customized technological solutions

We seek to cultivate a new generation of leaders and innovators who understand Africa's unique needs, and who are equipped to design solutions that are not only sustainable and adapted to our continent, but also affordable.

For the community

We actively support community projects aimed at improving the living conditions of local populations. By providing affordable technologies and collaborating with communities directly, local challenges are transformed into educational opportunities for our young girls.

Skill sharing

We have created an open source database of affordable and sustainable technologies, together with instructions for their manufacture. This database is accessible to all, enabling communities around the world to reproduce these technologies to meet their local needs.

In all areas

By exploring projects such as improved wheelchairs, solar refrigerators for food preservation and dry toilets, the girls discover how engineering can be applied to solve real-life problems and meet essential community needs.

Accessible technology

For the Community, by the Community

At the center, the focus is on developing affordable, efficient and sustainable technological solutions that meet the specific needs of communities.
